There once was a young girl who as so good at games of luck and chance that people would travel great distances simply to find out her secret. However every single person left disappointed, for her answer was always the same, "There is no answer, secret or formula to the blessing of good luck."
One day the young girl unknowingly beat a very rich official at a dice game of luck. Outraged the official ordered for the girl to be seized and tested for he must find out how she had beat him.
The girl underwent testing and questioning but she always answered the same, "There is no answer, secret or formula to the blessing of good luck."
After a while of being imprisoned the girl woke to find her door and every door from there on out, open. She then walked home to find that the greedy official who had so wanted her secret had died that night. When the villagers asked the girl how she had escaped she simply smiled and said, "There is no answer, secret or formula to the blessing of good luck."

Employment Insurance
Keynes- believed that government intervention into the economy was necessary to increase the total spending and lift the economy out of a recession.
Hayek- Governments who plan their societies are doomed to fail .Humans are simply too complex and can never match the natural evolutionary wisdom that comes from a free society. His theory was based on the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, both of which failed.

Employment Insurance
Hayek and Keynes supporters would have very different views on Canadian employment insurance however I think the idea of employment insurance fits better with the views of a Keynes supporter. Employment insurance is a service provided Canadian`s who have lost their job through no fault of their own. (Employment Insurance, 2011) Employment insurance is provided by the government taking money off of every pay check of all employee`s in the workforce an setting it into a fund. This is the fund which the money then comes out of to pay the unemployment insurance. Yearly the government handles 42 billion dollars (Congress, 2003) , off of hardworking Canadian’s pay checks. The reason that I think a Keynes supporter would agree with the concept of employment insurance is that the concept involves the government handling large amounts of money and redistributing them to people who don`t have a current income so that they still have money to spend in the economy. Keynes once said “A claim for equality of material position can be met only by a government with totalitarian powers.” (Keynes, 2010) What was meant by this quote was that A Hayek supporter would disagree with health insurance. A few possible arguments made by a Hayek supporter could include that if the government did not take the money off of the pay checks then money could be left to the people working to spend, still leaving the money in the economy to spend and causing the government less hassle. “By a continuing process of inflation, and intervention, government can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens.” (Hayek, 2010-2011) This illustrates how Hayek supporters hold the view that by leaving things alone and not having government intervene that everything will naturally right itself. So as you can see Keynes and Hayek had different views and their supporters have different views but no matter how they feel about it Employment Insurance is a part of Canada and shall remain a part until proven non- needed.

New logo
Meet my NEW AND EVOLVED logo...
I left most of my logo the same as it used to be only this time I decided to add a shadowed globe over the snapshot with two planes flying to other countries. Original, I know. For those of you who missed the rundown on what this logo is all about in the first place here it is short and sweet. The words in the "taller" person represent happy, loving and peaceful words and the words in the little person show many of the fears and worries that plague the world today. The "stand TALL" shows that we came overcome these worries. By adding the globe, it gives emphasis on the idea of the entire world overcoming their "bad side" and making it a better place.
Phedra's Anecdote
It was a warm winter day and the green foliage only made it seem warmer. Then again being from Canada every day in Florida seemed warm. I slowly turned my head, drinking in my surroundings. The longer I stood the deeper my feet sank into the soft white sand. Surrounding me with pools all filled with he deepest of blue tropical water. One snorkeling pool was bursting with tropical fish, eels and rays with a wing span twice the size of me. Another was a wading pool with smaller rays that you could pet and hold and finally on the right a heated swimming pool. As a stood as still as a statue I heard small feet creeping up in the sand behind me. As they drew closer I whipped around scooping up the small boy and kissing him on the cheek.
"Phedra!" by little brother Caleb screamed. "Put me down, I'm not a baby.""Phedra stop kissing your bother, " my mom lectured. "You know how much he hates it."
"I know," I laughed as I set Caleb down. He stalked off through the sand, head turned, feet stomping, nose crinkled.
With a few more words and a few dozen bottles of sunscreen (thank-you mom,) we wriggled on our snorkel masks and hit the water. The fish that we first encountered were only the introduction to the fabulous underwater world. After my terrified mother felt that all the fish had freaked her out enough for one day we traversed across the beach to the swimming pool. The five children from our party noisily splashed in and split up to explore. After swimming around for a while I stood up in the shallow part of the pool and noticed Caleb, obliviously swimming a few feet away. Stopping to adjust my standard "Discovery Cove" wetsuit I dipped into the water, plugging my snorkel, about to perform another classic sneak attack.. I popped up right in front of Caleb picking him up on either side of the face, preparing to kiss him on the cheek. Suddenly I heard my mom's bellowing from the shore line, A tone of urgency punctured into her words.
"PUT HIM DOWN, THA'S NOT YOUR BROTHER!"
I promptly dropped the boy into the water and waded back to the shore, a scarlet mask spreading slowly all over my face. My entire family was laughing and laughing. The rest of the day continued our family slowly started putting the earlier events behind us. That night as we were leaving Caleb went to jump a puddle, slipped and fell on his butt.
"Buddy are you okay?" asked my mom, helping him up. "Didn’t you see the puddle?"
"No!" said Caleb turning around to inspect his wet bum.
"Well buddy looks like we both learned a lesson today." I said
"And what lesson would that be?" questioned my dad.
I smiled up at him "Look before you leap."
